First African American President?

I am just playing devils advocate dear friend, besides they both had generalized theories that were the same.

Vice-Pres is NEVER as highly looked upon as the President; their advice is taken into account, but it's NOT the same thing. I'd be highly upset if she took that position too when SHE didn't believe anything he stood for either; how do you back someone up that you never believed in, in the first place?

Seeing as i'm eighteen, this is my topic as much as it is anyone else's. I REFUSE to vote Obauma though; and NO not because he's black. It's because I don't believe anything he stands for; I was going to vote for Hillary, but seeing as she dropped out I'm not voting for anyone. NONE of them deserve the vote because they've yet to prove what they're all about in my eyes.

With Hillary I thought we would have a CHANGE and a good one; people were saying 'Obauma being black IS a change' NO, it's really not. Him being black and becoming president? Okay, it would be a change but he's still a MAN. So it's the same in my eyes because skin color means nOthing; seriously nOthing. You're supposed to be equal, remember? No matter the color; but Hillary is a WOMAN. She has another point of view, which isn't just the MALE view. Now since she's given up, I can't vote for any of them; There's no true belief in them for me.

well that is true, and a point i do agree strongly with... in the arms of republicans... this country deteriorated at a rapid pace... everything has shot up in price... safe to say this is indeed Mr Bushs' fault. Besides Mr Obama has many good views and ideas that many americans can be satisfied with, thus helps with the popular vote.

sure a black president will be revolutionary and a very large step forward for the American people, but it is not because he is black that will get him the vote (it might take away) but the fact that he is a democrat. The American people do not need or want four more years of Republican and in accordance, do not need or want John McCain

Seems a strong posibility, Hillary is technically done and the time is near. What do you believe the outcome may be... and what supports your assesment/opinion?
