One thing, i was exaggerating when i said two or three. They raise it up by sense, but come on, soon enough it might be a dollar knowing them.

that too is another interesting aspect indeed, after all i hate when at one minute several trains may pass and yet the next... it takes a while such as an hour. Also ever hear the expression "More buck for your buy"? Because that certainly does not apply here.

yeahh, all you guys are stating the truths i mean thats nothing ever since idk like maybe a few months ago instead of giving you the extra fare when you get the 10$ metro card they only give you the dollar and fifty cents. the 20$ was 3.05$ now you tell me wtf is that! i was outraged like what the hell am i going to do with the 5 cents i mean i dont want to put 95 cents in like who has that amount of time? and dj your right they are a monopoly and i thought the U.S had passed a law stating there wouldnt be monopolies so much for that b.c they arent the only ones monopolizing. yes its true also that the train service is horrible i mean seriously it takes me 45 mins to get to work when it should only truly be 25 or 30 mins if the trains were on schedule. stupid MTA.

knowing that people take the train for means of transportation, they took as much advantage they can, and raise the price. One month it's a low cost, the next month it goes up two or three dollars. They have to much control of the prices, which is very greedy indeed.

stated simply, they are liers for the most part, and to solve all concerns regarding this... new york is expensive, however money makes greed, greed grows, and they want more money. very simple actually

I was stuck on a train without any power for an hour. No A/C on a crowded train for an hour on the hottest day we've had so far this year. Now the MTA wants to raise fairs because they say we get excellent service as users, but this is not service. Their fare hike is not justified if stuff like this happens. Trains are cleaner and stations are too, but the service and schedules of the trains are a severe disappointment. The reason for the train delay. A fire on the track due to litter catching fire. Now the MTA claims clean trains and stations(why was there litter on the tracks) the MTA claims improved maintenance(why the the track spark, causing the litter to catch fire) I cannot answer these questions but I can say this, The MTA does not deserve to increase our fare. They've monopolized the city public transportation business, so we are forced to use their services, but at least we should get good service at a good price.
