I just think, to be thought of as good you have to do some evil. The movie The Girl Next Door {Supposed to be a comedy but the dude makes a good point that I can use} has this one dude who says "Sometimes to do something good you have to do something bad" and more than not that is true. Some cases of good, you don't have to do anything bad, but a lot of the time you do. Hitler thought since no one wants jews get rid of them, his way of getting rid of them was pretty damn sadistic. {The german jew scientists ended up creating the Atomic bomb, for god's sake so the jews weren't so damn peachy themselves witht he knowledge on how to make a WMD.}

that is true as stated in my question, i made it a paradox to make others think in depth. Ones life, experiences, decisions, and enviorment overall effects thier perception of good or evil

Yes but has Light not said "I will become the God of the new world" No Offense that sounds like Self Gain thinking he is the only one fit to rule a new world.

this is all true however the perception of each individual makes good and bad different... so if you say something is indeed evil someone else may call it good, that in which would take your whole stand point and make it vanish.

I agree but as a pacifist in rl I do not sponsor killings. Though yes what he was doing was removing evil it was through a method Of Evil. I do believe there is a fine line between righteousness and justice and Self Gain and perceive of ones ideas.

He is still a criminal. I believe in fair trial for all. If he can be found benevolent for his crimes then, every one has a chance

Now then what makes good... well good? What generates Evil to be... well evil? Example One: Death Note. an anime in which the main character uses a weapon called a death note to kill off CRIMINALS, in order to better otganize the world, making less crime and better living. Technically is that good or bad? All based on perception, he figured it was good by killing what was "bad" but we have a moral about taking "Human" life.... but wait that criminal did take a life, that makes thier action inhumane, killing them is good, NO WAIT light killed someone now, that is inhumane... that is bad? Catch my drift....? Why is good and bad merely judged on a public, and worldy overall perception?
